Coast Road Drive to Clifden
Leave Galway City via Salthill and Knocknacarra ( R366). Pass through Barna (The Twelve Hotel), Furbo, Spiddal, Inverin, Rossaveal, Carraroe (optional), Screeb, Gortmore, Rosmuc, Kilkerrin, Carna, Cashel, Roundstone, Ballyconeely, and on to Clifden (capital of Connemara).
Galway Driving Route 2
Scenic drive to Roundstone
Take N59 from Galway City to Moycullen, Oughterard, and then on to Maam Cross. On leaving Maam Cross, take the N59 towards Clifden. After approximately 12 miles, take a left turn at the signpost for Roundstone.
